The EMD is a direct, near real time link to your bloodstock investment while at Vosburgh.
The EMD is an information and management page located on our website that allows the owner 24 hour access to their bloodstock. This tool can help the owner comply with Internal Revenue Code for material participation. This requirement states that one must actively participate 500 hours per year to deduct expenses from other forms of active income.
It contains feeding and care notes, observations, turn out, photos, vital signs, and progress charts.
The EMD allows Veterinarians instant access to monitor progress and provide care instructions. High resolution photography can be used to monitor affected areas in rehabilitating athletes.
Perhaps the most valuable function of the EMD is that it provides a collaborative environment for Vosburgh Farms, the Owner, Veterinarian, and Trainer to function as a team. The breakdown of communications can prevent goal attainment.
The EMD is only available to registered owners. Each page is protected and can only be viewed by the password holder. No other user can see your bloodstock information.
The EMD is currently updated four times a day. Specific Owner or Veterinary requirements that require a custom upload schedule can be accommodated, including interactive imaging with the Athlete's Veterinarian.
